Tonight’s Finale
I watched Saving Grace’s tv season finale tonight and I was very touched. This show is about a very kind woman who is a police officer but is quite loose with the men and the cigarettes. We find out tonight why she is like this and why her angel Earl is there for her. She had been molested as an 11 year old by her Catholic priest. Well, she has never dealt with it at all until it starts to unleash in tonight’s episode when she finds out this evil priest is still alive.
Anyway, I have become quite a fan of this TNT show.
The character Grace tells us the story of how abuse during our childhood can affect our behaviors and self image long into adulthood. It also shows how kind God is in helping us to realize what is going on so we can begin to heal and move on to a happier, more meaningful life. That is what tonight’s finale was about, so it really moved me. I had a violent mother when I was a child, and it still affects me. But I have realized many things and I have moved on to dreams and a much happier life.
