Thanks... I am at Apple Training in Cupertino right now. Was up all night studying. Know the Weyland book fairly well and have been given some extra things to study.

Instructor seems to genuinely want us to pass the test and is very helpful.

Was there anything on the test that surprised you?

Thanks for your time,
John

You need to study and study every night when at the T3. Where are you going? I bet somewhere fun like my adventures. Carefully choose 1 night to visit the city, but then go back and study. I am afraid you will have a bunch of long nights. But be aware that you need enough sleep to continue to cognitively function effectively. It's a fine line...

You will also have to prepare one or two demonstration trainings. Teach exactly how the master trainer wants you to train. :)

Hi Laura:

Great blog. Thanks, I will pass it on. A QUESTION: I passed FCP Level 1 last July and will be attending T3 next week. I have just gone through the Book (Again)to prepare..

Could you give me any insight, pointers, or help to prepare to the T3 Test. How hard was it? Was it like the end user exam? etc, etc, etc..

I would appreciate any info you would be willing to email me.

Thank you.

Thanks for the FCP flash cards! I just passed the Level 1 Test, and I'm sure I would have failed without them!

Ms. Dahl,

On the phone you spoke of someone who had posted a comment who hadn't passed the test. I can't seem to find that comment. I was wondering if you could email me a "make darn sure" list of the things we absolutely must know well to pass the test. You mentioned 3 point editing, effects and filters, 3 way color correction, and smooth cam. Are there others?

Best Regards,
