Final Cut Studio Trainer Certification

I studied for 4 months to take the Motion Graphics and Effects trainer certification.  This is a more advanced trainer cert that you can earn after becoming a Final Cut Pro level 1 trainer.  There is no Train-the-Trainer (T3) class to attend, just lots of hard work on your own part.

Well, I took the test on Thursday and passed!

This course is unique in that it teaches how to use in concert most of the Final Cut Studio 2 applications, including Motion 2, LiveType, DVD Studio Pro 4, and Final Cut Pro 6.  I learned how to use these programs to make gorgeous video files.  I even learned you can use Motion to create DVD menus that are way better than the menus I have created in the past using just DVD Studio Pro.  Here is the final project video for the DVD menu creation.

I have a question for you! I am also an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 6 and would like to get my trainer certification in Final Cut Studio Motion Graphics, as you have. I did not know that you don’t have to take a T-3 class for it. So what was the procedure you went through? Did you have to take the trainer exam? Did you take it online or at a training center with a proctor? Thanks!
