Export PowerPoint and Keynote Slides to iPhoto

It is quite easy to study your PowerPoint and Apple Keynote slides on your iPhone and iPod Touch. I do this by using Mac PowerPoint and Mac Keynote to send all your slides to iPhoto.

PowerPoint 2008

With PowerPoint for Mac 2008, you simply need to open your file then send to iPhoto through the File menu > Send To > iPhoto…

You then name the iPhoto Album, and it will export each slide as an image.

After a few minutes, it should open iPhoto and show up as a new Album.

The album is then available through iTunes as an album to add to your iPhone or iPod.

Keynote 2009

It is basically the same steps in Keynote. You open your file and open the Share menu. Select “Send to…” > iPhoto.

Then it will ask you what you want to name the file.

After a few minutes, it should open iPhoto and show up as a new Album.

The album is then available through iTunes as an album to add to your iPhone or iPod.

Your slides on your iPod

You can then open up your Photos app and find the album with your  presentation slides.  You then go through and view your slides.
