Expired Password

Some teacher passwords have been expiring today without warning. In order to fix this problem please go through the following steps. You only need to do this if your password has EXPIRED. This fix will also work with students who have expired passwords.

If Your Password Expires

  1. Power on your laptop and enter the expired password, a box will pop up stating that the password is expired and ask if you would like to change it. Click --> OK
  2. Change the password to something generic - ex) Iamawesome1!
  3. This should allow you to log onto your laptop. Once logged onto your laptop you must immediately log into password manager - https://pwmanager.henrico.k12.va.us/QPMUser/
  4. Follow the password manager prompts and Click --> Manage My Password to update it to a new one. If password manager prompts you to use your current password, make sure you use the one you set up in step 2.
  5. You should now get a green check indicating that the update was successful.
  6. Log out of the password manager website and IMMEDIATELY restart your computer and log in with the updated password.
