Have Students Improvise With Pechaflickr
Pechaflikr is a nifty little website that I discovered while attending the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE) conference back in December. Pechaflickr is a great resource to get your students thinking on their feet as well as allowing them to work on the art of improvisation. The goal of pechaflickr is to have students improv a coherent presentation from images they have never seen. Once you arrive at the site you simply enter a keyword or tag which will automatically create a slideshow consisting of 20 random flickr photos, each photo is displayed on the screen for 20 seconds. The site does offer some advanced options that allow you to change the timing or number of slides.
