Now that the SOL's are nearly upon us, you may be looking for new and creative ways to review material with your students. Kahoot! is a great system for assessing the class, and has been widely popular at Holman. However, if you are looking to change things up a bit, you may want to consider checking out the site Quizizz. Quizizz is similar to Kahoot! and the interface looks nearly identical. To get started, a student just need to visit www.quizizz.com/join and enter a 5 digit access code. Now you may be asking yourself, "Why should I use Quizizz if I am already happy with Kahoot!?" Well, the biggest difference between the two platforms would be the fact that Quizizz allows for students to work at their own pace. The self paced questions are randomized and students receive immediate feedback following each question they answer. When a student finishes their quiz, they are also presented with an itemized list of the quiz questions with their answer choices as well as the correct answer choices. Teachers also have the option to save a detailed report of the entire class to their computer with the click on a button.
