Activity vs. Project

While browsing Feedly on my iPad the other day I discovered this great chart on the Educational Technology and Mobile learning website. The feed entitled  A Must See Chart on Activity Vs. Project highlighted the main differences between an activity and a project. More often than not, teachers view these two words as one in the same. However, the article did a good job of explaining how unlike an activity, a project based model is much more about process, authenticity, and reflection. The chart below uses two similar scenarios to illustrate the difference between these two "analogous" words.
