It's that time of year again where we find ourselves preparing for an onslaught of end of the year ceremonies and award recognition for the students we teach. Sure you can hand out a traditional, boring, generic certificate found in the MS Word template gallery, but why not try and spice things up a bit? Canva.com offers a huge selection of professional looking templates and a large array of helpful pointers concerning graphic design. Canva is a free service that allows for you to sign up with your already existing Google sign - in credentials. Once you set up an account you can choose from a comprehensive selection of templates as well as upload your own images. Once your creation is complete, it is saved to the canva website. Canva also provides you with the option to download the image or pdf right to your computer's hard drive. This site is definitely worth checking out.
