Diigo Outliners
Earlier this year I blogged about my favorite bookmarking service - Diigo. Diigo keeps my life organized by storing all of my bookmarks in the cloud. Since they are stored in the cloud, I am able to access my bookmarks from any device. If I need to find a link that I bookmarked 3 months ago, I can search right from Chrome's Omnibox by keyword and the link appears right before my very eyes. For example, if I need to access one of many agendas I just type "agenda" and I am presented with links to following agendas:Â
If I am searching for a specific agenda I can type "agenda ITRT" and the list will become even more concise. This year I took advantage of Diigo Outliners when planning for Henrico 21. If I do a keyword search in Diigo for "Henrico 21" I am presented with 34 links. In order to organize those links, I added them to an Outliner. The outline contained notes with important dates and various links on a single page. Once the outline was complete I created a public link and shared it with those teachers involved in the Henrico 21 process. You can access that planning outline by clicking here.
