Artist Statement Podcast

Mrs. Kolar's Art 1 class is in the process of preparing their artist statements for the upcoming gallery walk. The art will be on display for teachers, parents, and community members. Each piece of art on the tour will contain a QR code that will be linked to the student's recorded reflection explaining the overall creative process involved with each piece of art. I love how Mrs. Kolar always tells her students, "It's not just about the end product, but the PROCESS!" We decided to upload the audio files to soundcloud.com in order to link it to the QR code. Soundcloud is a service that let's users upload up to 180 minutes of audio to the site for free. If you need more time the site offers a paid service as well. A recent update to Soundcloud allows for podcasters to submit their stream to the iTunes store. This new feature will allow people to subscribe to your podcast using a podcasting mobile app notifier on their phone, tablet, or computer whenever a new episode is added.
