How to Set Up A Google + Hangout On - AirGoogle Hangouts is a way to communicate with others via. video, text, and phone calls. Google Hangouts is similar to Microsoft's Skype. Students are not able to do video hangouts, but teachers will have this option using their county issued laptop. Google Hangouts allows for 10 people to participate in the video conference.Â
A Hangout on Air is a little different from your typical Hangout in that it allows for you to stream a live feed of the video conference to YouTube where a countless number of people can watch the conference LIVE. A Hangout On Air is also recorded and saved to your personal YouTube channel so people who were unable to watch the live event can watch the recording at a later date and time.
