Embed an HTML5 Player on a Google Site

For some odd reason, embedding audio in a Google Site has never been easy. Soundcloud and Archive.org offer some nice players that can be used in a Google Site, but terms of service often require students to be 13 or older, and many teachers just don't feel comfortable having their students create personal accounts. Ideally students would be able to upload their audio files directly to a Google Site and embed the file from there. Well it turns out that this is a viable option! I recently discovered an HTML5 player script written by Dale Basler that does just that. Once an audio file has been uploaded to a Google Site, one simply links to the audio file via. a Google Gadget. Below is an example of David Bowie's song, Young Americans that was embedded on this site using the "add gadget by URL" option. Click on the link below to view the tutorial.
