Vocabulary Awareness

Students, faculty, and staff have chosen to read the novel, Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie for this year's All Holman Reads.The students have been creating videos that focus on the key vocabulary found in each chapter of the book. In order to develop a vocabulary awareness, students have decided to create a series of videos that focus on those key words. A new video devoted to a specific chapter is aired every Wednesday and Friday during the morning announcements. These videos act as a great segue for the classroom discussions that take place immediately following the announcements. Below is one of the videos that takes a look at the vocabulary mentioned in chapter 5 and is based on a Spanish soap opera.
