Templates in Google Docs

Google docs offers a wide variety of templates for teachers & students. By logging into your Google Drive account and clicking on Create --> From Template you can do a search for a countless number of public templates. I performed a search for a Newsletter template and found one that I thought was both aesthetically pleasing to the eye and had the content arranged in an easy to read manner. As you can see from the sample below, the template was geared towards little - league baseball, but I was able to easily adapt the template and make it my own. Teachers also have the option to create their own custom templates and share it with their classes by going to the template gallery and clicking --> Submit A Template

As previously mentioned, students and teachers can browse the Google Docs template gallery by clicking on Choose --> From Template. If this option is not available, just click on connect more apps located at the bottom of the drop down menu.  Perform a search for the keyword template and click on the blue connect button.

As with all things Google, once the template is modified, it can easily be shared with a global audience.

Holman ITRT Newsletter

With this template you can even go old school and print off numerous copies of the newsletter using your school's duplicating machine. BAM!
