Using the Power of Twitter to Enhance Classroom Practices

Twitter is a great tool to help teachers stay abreast of what is happening in the world of academia. For example, there are specific #hashtags that cater to Social Studies teachers, the flipped classroom, Educational Technology, and K-12 education. Twitter has provided me with a multitude of ideas and resources that I have been able to incorporate into the classroom. It is also a fantastic tool for communicating with students and parents in order to relay homework assignments, future test dates, or any other relevant classroom information.
